Canadian Somali Congress Brings Attention to Drought in East Africa

The Canadian Somali Congress with the help of 5 national prominent organizations signed a joint statement calling on the Canadian Government to respond in an urgent manner to the plight of millions people facing drought in Somalia, Kenya, Ethopia, Eritrea, and Dijbouti. The signatories to the statement included Canadian Somali: Congress, Canadian International Peace Project, Canadian Jewish Congress, Canadian Arab Federation, Assembly of First Nations, and Islamic Council of Imaams - Canada.
